My So-Called Strife

My So-Called Strife

People to People

As I mentioned in an earlier post, Mom is in Europe for 2 weeks. She flew out yesterday.

Today’s entry on the itinerary says:
Welcome to Ireland! Introductions to your People to People delegation manager and coach driver mark the commencement of your journey. They lead the way to the coach, where the adventure is just beginning. Take a trip skyward in the glass lift to the top of The Chimney Viewing Tower. The existing 185 ft old Chimney has been topped with a two tiered glass-enclosed platform, and provides a 360 degree panoramic view of the city. Visit the Gaelic Athletic Association (GAA) Museum to find out about the traditional Irish sports of Gaelic Football and Hurling. Continue on to Glendalough, one of the most historic and scenic sites in Ireland. This evening, you will hike along the shores of the lake to discover the Abbey ruins.
